Willow Acres, Indiana

On July 28th, 2024, Mackenzie and Guiseppe got married at Willow Acres in Indiana, a countryside venue surrounded by open fields and quiet, Midwest charm. The day started with steady summer rain that lasted through most of the morning. Instead of throwing everything off, it made the getting ready moments feel calm and intimate. The soft light coming through the windows and the sound of rain in the background gave the entire first half of the day a slower, more intentional pace.

Almost perfectly timed, the rain stopped just before the ceremony began. The air felt fresh, the clouds still hanging low enough to create that dreamy, diffused light photographers secretly love. Their outdoor ceremony at Willow Acres felt peaceful and grounded, with family and friends gathered against the green landscape that makes this Indiana wedding venue so beautiful in the summer.

One of the most special parts of the celebration was the groom’s family traveling in from London. Having loved ones come all that way added so much meaning to the day. It truly felt like two worlds coming together in one place. The speeches were heartfelt, the hugs lingered a little longer, and once the reception started, the dance floor stayed full.

While this gallery reflects an earlier version of my editing style,
the heart of the day is still something I love. The emotion, the storytelling, and the way everything unfolded so naturally is what matters most. This Willow Acres wedding is such a good reminder that rain on your wedding day isn’t a bad omen. Sometimes it clears at exactly the right moment and makes everything feel even more special.
