Emily & Brock

*Captured on 35mm and digital. On a warm, sunny October day, Emily and Brock got married at Bell Mare Events, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The light had that perfect early fall feel all day, soft and golden, with just enough crispness in the air to make everything feel calm and easy.

They started the morning getting ready at Brock’s family home, which made the whole day feel more personal from the beginning. It was relaxed, familiar, and full of those quiet, in-between moments that end up meaning the most. Nothing felt rushed or overly structured, just a steady, natural start to everything.

Emily and Brock leaned into a more non-traditional style that felt really true to them. There were western and retro touches throughout, like Brock’s bolo tie and their love for records, plus so many small details that reflected their taste in music and vintage style. It all came together in a way that felt thoughtful but not overdone.

Their ceremony felt intimate and grounded, with everyone gathered close and fully present. You could tell how much it meant to have all of their people there. The whole day had this easy rhythm to it, where things unfolded naturally and nothing felt forced.

By the time the reception started, it felt less like a formal event and more like a really good gathering. The kind where everyone is relaxed, the music is right, and you don’t want it to end. It was simple in the best way, just full of love, good energy, and a day that felt completely like them.
