What is the difference between Super 8 and film photos?
Absolutely! Super 8 can be added to any package. You can choose one roll or multiple, depending on how much of your day you want captured on film. It mixes beautifully with digital photos and gives your gallery that vintage, timeless feel.
Super 8 is filmed in short moments throughout the day — little clips of movement, emotion, and candids. I’ll seamlessly switch between filming and photographing, so nothing feels staged or interrupted. It’s lightweight and blends naturally into the flow of your day.
All rolls get mailed to a professional film lab in California. Their turnaround time is typically one to three weeks depending on their queue. My editing takes about one week. Overall, you can expect your final Super 8 delivery within 3–6 weeks, depending on the season.
What is the difference between Super 8 and film photos?
Super 8 is video and motion — it captures that vintage and nostalgic “home movie” feel. Film photos are still images shot on 35mm or medium format film. Super 8 has a softer, grainier look, while film photos are higher-resolution and more detailed. However, both pair beautifully together and add that timeless, analog feel to your gallery.
If your package includes two photographers, my second will step in and take over. I have additional trusted backups in place if something were to happen to either of us. Our shooting styles align and I would handle all editing. You will never be left without a photographer.
Yes! I offer a simple split-payment schedule to make everything easy to track. It’s a 25% non-refundable retainer to secure your date, then 25% is due six months out, another 25% at three months, and the final 25% one month before your wedding date.

Travel is super straightforward. For weddings out of state, I simply charge for the basics — flights and rental car if necessary. I always put together a clear, upfront travel quote before you book so there are no surprises, and I only charge what it actually costs me to get to you.
